How to Use the PDF Merger Tool

Our PDF Merger tool allows you to combine multiple PDF files into a single document quickly and easily. Follow these steps to merge your PDFs:

  1. Navigate to the PDF Merger tool on the FileAlchemy website.
  2. Click on the "Upload Files" button or drag and drop your PDF files into the designated area.
  3. Once your files are uploaded, you can rearrange their order by dragging and dropping the file names in the list.
  4. If needed, you can remove files from the list by clicking the "X" next to the file name.
  5. When you're satisfied with the order, click the "Merge PDFs" button.
  6. Wait for the merging process to complete. This may take a few moments depending on the size and number of your files.
  7. Once the merge is complete, click the "Download" button to save your new, combined PDF file.

Tips for Using the PDF Merger

File Order

The order of the files in the list determines the order of pages in your final merged PDF. Make sure to arrange them as you want them to appear in the final document.

File Size Limits

Our free tier allows merging of up to 5 PDF files with a maximum size of 10MB each. For larger files or more documents, consider upgrading to a premium plan.

Bookmarks and Links

The PDF Merger preserves bookmarks and links from the original PDFs. These will be accessible in the merged document, making navigation easier.
